Happy November!  This month is filled with reminders to give thanks.  I am thankful that you choose to let us teach and love on your children every day.  We teach the whole child and are dedicated to providing meaningful instruction and experiences to your children every day.  Thank you for partnering with Brentwood!

We had a busy October.  Thank you to all of the families who were able to attend parent conference day.  It is the partnership between school and families that makes Brentwood a special place for children to learn and grow.  Our 5th graders attended Outdoor School where they practiced many of the lifeskills. Thank you to the PTA for providing a wonderful Halloween Carnival last weekend.  Everyone had a great time! We are celebrating Red Ribbon Week this week to make sure that Brentwood Bulldogs stay drug free.

In November we will remember and celebrate Veteran’s Day with a program on, Nov. 11, led by Ms. Eastman.  If you know a veteran who would like to attend please inform Ms. Eastman.  We are also celebrating Picture Book Month with Ms. Slaten.  Some of our parents will continue to participate in a parent book study led by the Social Emotional Learning Department.  We are all looking forward to the full week off for Thanksgiving.

Thank you for sharing your children with us each day.  WE are committed to teaching and caring for our students!

Keep Learning,

Amber Laroche
Proud Brentwood Principal
