Complete our volunteer survey to indicate your interests and we’ll help find the perfect opportunity for you! Please note that all volunteers will need register with Austin Partners In Education to undergo a background check before signing up for any volunteer work.

Below are the areas in which we currently need the most help, so please let us know if you are specifically interested in covering any of these opportunities when you complete your volunteer survey!

NEW! Enrichment Activity Helpers

• Volunteers will work with small groups of students identified by their teachers. The volunteer role will be to support students, and not to develop curriculum. Expected minimum volunteer commitment is two hours per month.

Library Helpers

• Our library has numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the year, ranging from shelving books to helping with events (such as book fairs)!
• If your interests include volunteering to shelve books on a regular basis, please complete the volunteer survey AND reach out to our librarians Erin Tigelaar and Kate Slaten via email (at erin.tigelaar@austinisd.org and kate.slaten@austinisd.org) or by phone (at 512-414-2039, ext. 52594).
